Ardingly, according to Agent Holmbush

A 1959 Ordnance Survey Map showing the line from Ardingly to Horsted Keynes... (Map courtesy of Agent Dumpman). The Lywood Tunnel can be clearly seen in the dead centre of the map and the viaduct we found the remains of spannedwhere the road and river cross just to the right of "High Wood". Ardingly Station is bottom left hand corner.

Horsted Keynes Station; the mission's start and finish point... 

Joseph Hamblet was the supplier of many bricks etc for railway structures. The company ceased trading in 1915.
